The City of Columbia works hard to keep our streets and right of ways free of litter and pollutants. Columbia’s Adopt-A-Spot Litter Program is a great opportunity for volunteers to become a part of the team that makes Columbia a great place to live, work and play while protecting the environment.

- Select a cleanup site for approval or give us a call and we will provide suggestion for your particulas situations
- Complete the agreement form
- A two-year commitment is required
- Minimum requirement of four cleanups per year
- Safety vests, gloves and bags provided
- Adoption Recognition sign placement at location
One-time volunteer opportunity
The Volunteer Programs also welcomes groups or individuals interested in a one-time cleanup effort or people interested in linking up with others to maintain a site.
