Available Adopt-A-Spot Sites

Adopt-A-Spot Beautification Beds available for YOU!

If you are interested in adopting a site please email us so we can include you on our “interested list.” We will send you an email notification when any new, or existing beds come available for adoption.

Green Meadows/Buttonwood– This bed is located on Buttonwood Dr just off of E Green Meadows Rd that needs an adopter to maintain existing plants and no new planting should be necessary. Water is not available at this site. 

Mexico Gravel Road/Ballenger Roundabout-The City is working to replant this roundabout with native plants to reduce maintenance.  Available for adoption Spring 2019.

Rollins Rd/Fairview– These two beds are located on Rollins Rd just west of the roundabout at S Fairview Rd and Rollins Rd.    While the bed does have some existing plants it is need of some TLC.   Water is available at this site. 

Scott Blvd/Route KK Roundabout: The City is working to replant this roundabout with native plants to reduce maintenance.  Available for adoption Spring 2019.

Chapel Hill  2 and 3 -These are among six median beds located on Chapel Hill Rd, west of the intersection of Scott Blvd and Chapel Hill Rd.  These are existing beds that will require consistent maintenance.  Water is not available at this location. 

ADOPTIONS PENDING:

Clark Lane/Ballenger Ln Roundabout– This is a roundabout located at the intersection of Clark Ln/Ballenger Ln.  This bed needs an adopter to maintain existing plants and no new planting should be necessary.   Water is not available at this location. 

Green Meadows at Walmart/Kohl’s traffic light:  This is a small bed at the southeast corner of the intersection. Water is not available but it has established plants!  Annual maintenance includes weeding and cutting back the shrubs.

Forum 8 –  This is a median bed on Forum Blvd near the intersection of Forum Blvd and Shoreside Dr.   This bed has existing plants but the adopter is welcome to bring their personal touch with new plants as well.  Water is available at this site.

Providence & Green Meadows – The four corners of this intersection are available as one area to adopt.  There are existing plants in the beds that need some TLC.  Water is not available.  This is a high profile location. 

Blue Ridge 4– This is a median bed located on Blue Ridge Rd just east of the intersection of Blue Ridge Rd and North Providence Rd that needs an adopter to maintain existing plants.  Water is available at this site. 

Chapel Hill  1 – This are among six median beds located on Chapel Hill Rd, west of the intersection of Scott Blvd and Chapel Hill Rd.  These are existing beds that will require consistent maintenance.  Water is not available at this location. 

Broadway & Fairview – Northwest corner.  Water is not available at this bed but it is high traffic location with existing plants!
