Available Adopt-A-Spot Sites

    Adopt-A-Spot Beautification Beds available for YOU!

    If you are interested in adopting a site please email us so we can include you on our “interested list.” We will send you an email notification when any new, or existing beds come available for adoption.

    Blue Ridge 6–  This is a median bed located on Blue Ridge Rd between Dove Dr and Gazelle Dr that needs an adopter to maintain the existing plants.  Water is available at this site. 

    Brown Station North– This is a median bed located on Brown Station Rd at Leeway Dr.  This bed needs an adopter to maintain existing plants and no new planting should be necessary.  Water is available. 

    Brown Station South– This is a median bed located on Brown Station Rd at Blue Ridge Rd.  This bed needs an adopter to maintain existing plants and no new planting should be necessary.  Water is available. 

    Burning Bush- This bed is a median bed located East of Providence. It is in need of some TLC. It does have some existing plants but the adopter is welcome to add their personal touch with new plants as well.

    Chapel Hill 3- This bed is one of six median beds located on Chapel Hill Rd, west of the intersection of Scott Blvd and Chapel Hill Rd.  This is an existing bed that will require consistent maintenance.  Water is not available at this location. 

    Green Meadows/Buttonwood– This bed is located on Buttonwood Dr just off of E Green Meadows Rd that needs an adopter to maintain existing plants and no new planting should be necessary. Water is not available at this site. 

    Highway 763/Prathersville Roundabout- The City is working to replant this roundabout with native plants to reduce maintenance. 

    Mexico Gravel Road/Ballenger Roundabout-The City is working to replant this roundabout with native plants to reduce maintenance. 

    Rollins Rd/Fairview– These two beds are located on Rollins Rd just west of the roundabout at S Fairview Rd and Rollins Rd.    While the bed does have some existing plants it is need of some TLC.   Water is available at this site. 

    Saddlebrook Roundabout- This bed is located at the roundabout at Saddlebrook Place and American Parkway, east of Rangeline Street.  This bed has a few plants so the adopter is welcome to add to what is there!  Water is not available at this location. 

    Scottson Way-This well established bed is located at Scottson Way, south end. This bed needs an adopter to maintain existing plants and no new planting should be necessary. While there is not water available in this bed, it has established perennials that do well without watering in normal conditions.

    Scott Blvd/Route KK Roundabout: The City is working to replant this roundabout with native plants to reduce maintenance. 

     

    ADOPTIONS PENDING:

    Providence Recycling Drop-Off Center– This is a pollinator garden that has already been planted and established in front of the new recycling drop-off center on Providence Rd.   We are looking for an adopter to weed and maintain this bed.  

    Rolling Hills Road, south of WW: This is a large median with no water. An adopter would be welcome to improve the turf and agree to mow, landscape it, or do some combination.

    Rollins Roundabout: This bed is located on Rollins Road by the Bonnie View Nature Sanctuary and contains existing plants but will need some weeding and TLC to spruce things up.  Adopter is welcome to add their personal touch on it as well!
