Progress Updates:

Nov. 30, 2018:

S&A Equipment and Builders, the contractor for the Vandiver-Parker Roundabout project, says it’s taking advantage of warmer weather Thursday – Saturday to work on the last leg of the project. Completion of the project is tracking early/mid December. Vandiver Drive remains open with alternating traffic and detours.

Oct. 17, 2018:

Crews are finishing the westbound pavement on the west leg of the roundabout between Parker and Veteran’s United this week. The lane is being lowered and reconstructed to improve the sight lines for traffic approaching the roundabout. At some point early next week, the westbound lane will open to traffic and the eastbound lane will close for reconstruction. Traffic will continue to be regulated by a traffic signal on each end of the project, allowing traffic to use the lane in alternating directions. The project continues to be on schedule for completion by early December, weather permitting.

Central Concrete delivers a load of cement for the Vandiver-Parker roundabout project.
The west leg of the roundabout on Vandiver is being lowered and reconstructed to improve sight distance. The section is between Parker and Veteran's United on the west side of the roundabout.
