Chip Seal 2018

What is Chip Seal?

Chip Seal operations have been rescheduled to Sep. 4-14, 2018, weather permitting.

The chip seal process prevents pavement deterioration by sealing cracks and preventing water intrusion.

During chip seal operations, and several days afterwards, it is advised to drive more cautiously until the chips either lock in place or are swept up by City sweepers. Please avoid turning sharply, braking quickly or spinning your tires.

This is a tentative schedule and order of streets, weather permitting. The Street Division will post signs a minimum of 24 hours in advance of when vehicles should be moved off the roadway.
