Project Description: The improvement project will include constructing a 6-foot wide concrete sidewalk with integral curb on the east side of Carter Lane from Foxfire Drive to Huntridge Drive (see location and layout diagrams below).
Project Status: The Carter Lane sidewalk was completed in May 2019. The bus shelter was installed in October 2019.

Construction Updates:
Nov. 1: The bus shelter was installed in mid November to complete the project. Watch the City Channel video for more details: Carter Lane Complete
May 31: The Carter Lane sidewalk is complete. However, some landscaping work remains to be done. Bus shelters to be added near the project are pending City Council approval.
May 14: Crews are pouring concrete for the final line of sidewalk on Carter Lane this afternoon, May 14. More work remains after pouring the sidewalk, but the project remains on schedule with the possibility of being completed ahead of schedule, weather permitting. (See video on Facebook)
