How do I register for an adult sports league?

Registration for leagues is just as easy as any other program registration. Call our registration desk at 573-874-7460 and register with a credit card or stop by the Parks & Recreation Administration office at 1 South 7th Street between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Registrations can also be made online with a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. Call the registration desk for your user name and password. Teams must provide a roster prior to the first game.

How do I register for a youth sports league?

Registrations for youth sports are coordinated through the respective youth league organization (i.e. Columbia Soccer ClubColumbia Youth FootballColumbia Youth Basketball AssociationDiamond CouncilMid Missouri Lacrosse League, etc.) Registration forms can be printed from the youth league organizations website or some organizations now provide online registration. Registrations must be mailed to the youth league’s office. We do not accept youth league registrations.

When can I expect to get a schedule?

Schedules for adult sports leagues are accessible online by 12:00 noon the Wednesday prior to the first game. Copies can also be given to individuals that stop by the Parks & Recreation Administration office. To access schedules go to the adult sports page and select the appropriate sport from the list. Youth sports schedules are found on the respective sponsor website.

What if I am an individual player without a team?

If you are looking to get on a team for a particular sport, go to the Available Players link and fill out the form. Teams looking for additional players will then contact you.

Do you have a league mailing list so I can receive information about a particular league?

We would be happy to send any interested players / managers for adult leagues a packet that will include registration information, fees, deadlines and scheduling information. Email your name, complete address and the league that you are interested in to bobby.chick@como.gov
