Community Recreation

Community Recreation primarily serves the citizens of Central Columbia but targets low-income families and “at-risk” youth. The majority of the programs are offered to the public at little or no cost.

The offices of Community Recreation are located at the Armory Sports Center, 701 E. Ash Street. For more information about programs offered, staff can be contacted at 817-5077. (Information about youth and adult financial assistance)

Columbia Youth Intro to Track and Field
Saturday, April 21, 2018 – 1:30 pm check in 
Hickman High School Track

Learn about Track and Field in this event, open to youth ages 6-12. Registration forms available at Parks and Rec office at #1 South 7th St.  Deadline to register is April 19. Cost is $5 per child, copy of birth certificate and baptismal record is required. New City Hoops
