Wilson Park History

Formerly known as Rockhill Park, the City Council approved re-naming the park Clyde Wilson Memorial Park on June 21, 2010 in honor of Mr. Wilson’s many years of service to the City. His notable activities included serving as a City Council member, one term as the mayor, involvement with many City commissions, and a found/leader of the East Campus Neighborhood Association. Capital Improvement Projects

2011 Clyde Wilson Park Improvements – replace bridges, improve park access, replace park entrance signs, trail improvements
2012 Acquisition of 1.3 acre adjacent parcel – Parmentier property
  Clyde Wilson Park Improvements – entry beautification,bike racks, trail improvements and additional signage.
