Shepard Boulevard Park-School is a neighborhood park adjacent to Shepard Boulevard Elementary School. Sitting on 5.3 acres, the park contains a playground, a sand volleyball court, a soccer practice field, and a 0.2 mile gravel walking trail. Smithton Park is a neighborhood park located across the street from Smithton Middle School. The open field, leased from Evangelical Free Church, allows visitors of the park to practice baseball and softball. A 0.33 loop trail surrounds the park, and a nature trail cuts through the wooded area of the park. A playground with a rubberized ADA surface and non-reservable shelter are also in the park.
Stephens Lake Park is the crown jewel of Columbia's park system and is known for its 11-acre fishing/swimming lake, mature trees, and historical significance in the community. The property that Strawn Park sits on was acquired to serve as a trailhead for the future Perche Creek Trail. Visitors come from all over the country to play the number one ranked public disc golf course, Harmony Bends Championship Disc Golf Course.
