The Fairview Hollow Nature Area has 7.81 acres of natural wooded green space. The property was donated by MBS and the agreement requires the property to remain as a "wooded natural area".

This community park is adjacent to Fairview Elementary School off of Fairview Road. It shares a parking lot with the school on the north side of the park. The park includes four tennis courts, a reservable shelter, restroom, garden plots (available for rent), playground, and soccer practice fields. The east side of the park is heavily wooded, with more open space on the west side. The park has a connection to the Scott's Branch Trail.
902 Range Line St.
This neighborhood park is located at the intersection of Range Line St. and Wilkes Blvd., next to Eugene Field Elementary School and across the street from Columbia College. The park serves as a neighborhood gathering place for use by the school and community. It has picnic tables, an outdoor classroom, drinking fountain, and park benches. Grove Construction is housed in the Heibel-March building on the corner of the park property through a conveyance/lease with the City of Columbia.
101 S. 4th St.
Flat Branch Park is located in downtown Columbia. The park runs along Flat Branch Creek and extends across two city blocks. The park includes a gazebo, picnic areas, spraygrounds, playground, art sculpture, demonstration rain garden, historical plaques, and is a trailhead for the MKT Trail. You can travel the MKT Trail all the way from Flat Branch Park to the statewide Katy Trail without having to cross a street. There is a bridge access to the Convention and Visitors Bureau located on the other side of the creek from the park.
2701 Forum Blvd.
Forum Nature Area is a trailhead for the MKT Trail off of Forum Blvd., with a parking lot, year-round restroom, water fountain, and stretching stations. The nature area has over 100 acres to explore off of the MKT Trail via loop gravel trails around the wetlands area. No bikes allowed in the nature area.
