Whether you are participating in the Great American Campout, doing your own backyard campout, or going on a family camping trip this summer, here’s a pack of kid crafts and activities to add to the fun!
Purchase at the downtown Parks and Recreation office at #1 S 7th St.

Get ready for a week of messy fun! Everything from shaving cream slip n’ slide, to slimy crafts, to gooey projects, to squishy games and more. A fun day camp with a messy twist. Wear clothes and shoes that can get stained and dirty. Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit, goggles, towel, water shoes and change of clothes.
Social distancing guidelines will be in place and crafts will be adjusted so that supplies are not shared. Pre-registration required.
Summer Dance Camps
Youth camp: ages 5-8
July 13-17, 9 am to 12 pm (Friday is show only)
Preschool camp: ages 2-4 (with adult participant)
July 13-17, 12-12:30 pm (Friday is show at 9 am)
Hillcrest Community Center
Kids in both camps will learn the fundamentals of ballet, jazz and cheerleading. Social distancing will be in place and groups will be limited in size. For more details and to register, click here.
