About the Twin Lakes Shelter

This shelter is the largest reservable outdoor shelter in the park system, with a group size limit of 200. It is next to the playground and near the restrooms. Twin Lakes Recreation Area is located off Chapel Hill Road and can also be accessed via County House Trail. Among park features are leash-free areas for dogs, fishing lake, swimming area, and a bath house. The lake perimeter trail connects to the MKT Trail.
