The following park lands are adjacent to public schools. This close proximity of parks to schools allows for shared amenities, avoiding duplication of sports fields, playgrounds, running tracks, etc. Some of the park lands are owned in whole or part by Columbia Public Schools and are developed and operated by Parks and Recreation for public use through a cooperative land use agreement. Capital improvement projects for each of these parks can be found on the respective park’s web page.
