2002 Facility Needs Update – Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan

The Master Plan is a living document that is updated as priorities are directed by the City Council and citizens of Columbia. To address the growth of development in and around Columbia, the Parks and Recreation Department has updated the Neighborhood Parks Plan and the Trails Plan. The Existing Community Parks, Existing Regional Parks, and Existing and Funded Trails Maps have been updated to reflect properties acquired and trails funded since the 2002 park inventory was completed. The updated plans are in red text below and follow the original pages of the 2002 Facility Needs Update under “View the Master Plan” heading.
