Community Oriented Policing Report Draft

Columbia Community Oriented Policing ReportThis report fulfills the City of Columbia City Council Resolution R 23-18 declaring support for Community Oriented Policing, and its directive to the city manager to design a citywide Community Oriented Policing program for the Columbia Police Department, a transition plan, timeline, and budget for modifying current CPD policies, procedures, and operations and implementing the new program; as well as an evaluation process that includes goals, objectives, and measurable outcomes.

A draft of the Community Oriented Policing report was presented to City Council on Sept. 4, 2018 by Sgt. Robert Fox of the Columbia Police Department and City Manager Mike Matthes.
