This is Columbia's largest outdoor municipal pool. It has a spacious 50-meter pool with two diving boards and a triple-loop enclosed flume slide. There is a separate water play area for kids; a bathhouse with mens, womens, and family changing rooms; concession area, and a large deck with lounge chairs and shade umbrellas.

The Water Zone is the ARC's indoor heated leisure pool with zero depth entry, interactive water play structure, triple-loop water slide, lazy river, vortex, three 25-yard lap lanes, a heated hydro-therapy pool, concession area, and party rooms for rent.

This central-city outdoor pool features a double loop slide, climbing wall, and spraygrounds. It has a shaded shelter inside the fencing, lounge chairs, bathhouse, and concessions. Douglass Family Aquatic Center has the lowest admission fee of all the municipal pools, providing a great family value.

Douglass Spraygrounds is part of the Douglass Family Aquatic Center when the pool is open and plays the role of the kiddie pool. During pool hours the gate access from the park is locked. After pool hours, the gate to the spraygrounds is opened for access from the park and use of the spraygrounds is FREE and open to the public. Douglass Spraygrounds is open May 1 to Sept. 30, which begins before and ends after the regular pool season.

Flat Branch Spraygrounds is centrally located in downtown Columbia and is FREE and open to the public from May 1 to Sept. 30. It is operated with recycled, chlorinated water. The spraygrounds is activated by push button and is a great place to cool off during the summer. It is especially popular with families with young children. The spraygounds can also serve as an outdoor amphitheater, with tiered stone seating on the east side.

Hickman Pool is an indoor heated pool located on the campus of Hickman High School. Due to a co-operative agreement between the City of Columbia and Columbia Public Schools, Columbia Parks and Recreation has joint-use of the pool at scheduled times when not in school use. Hickman Pool is used for Parks and Recreation swim lessons, water aerobic classes, lifeguard training, recreation swim teams, and special aquatic programs.

This outdoor municipal pool on the east side of Columbia is surrounded by the beautiful Lake of the Woods Golf Course. The pool features slides, lounge chairs, umbrella shade, and concessions at the clubhouse.

Stephens Lake Beach and Spraygrounds are FREE to the public and open from May 1 to Sept. 30. There is a sand beach and a designated roped area for swimming. The lake is unguarded and visitors swim at their own risk. Stephens Lake Park features the largest spraygrounds (5,782 sq. ft.) in Columbia's park system, with a variety of water spray features, such as spray rings, water columns, stream jets, geysers, and bubblers. Stephens Lake Park is centrally located in Columbia and is a family friendly place to cool off and have fun.
