13th Circuit Court Order – includes suspension of evictions through April 17, 2020.
Announcement about Rental Inspections & Renewals in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic – posted 3-17-2020
Effective immediately, we are suspending interior rental inspections. For inspections that are scheduled, we will be in touch with you later this spring about rescheduling. Rental applications that are pending City inspection will be scheduled later in the spring.
Rental renewals will be given additional time for submission. Any renewals due April 1 or May 1 will be accepted without penalty by June 1. We will communicate if this deadline needs to be extended.
Our office will continue to handle tenant complaints and will be judicious in responding to help resolve these issues.
Please know this is a tentative plan and we will continue to be in touch with you as the situation progresses. We have heard from a few rental property owners and managers and know that inspections by our staff and HVAC companies are a concern for all.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Please be in touch with us with any questions or comments: 573-817-5050 or neighborhood@CoMo.gov.
