CITY COUNCIL MEETING - COLUMBIA, MISSOURI
AUGUST 27, 2001

INTRODUCTORY
    The City Council of the City of Columbia, Missouri met for a special session at 6:20 p.m., on Tuesday, August 27, 2001, in the Council Chamber of the City of Columbia, Missouri. The roll was taken with the following results: Council Members LOVELESS, JOHN, COFFMAN, HINDMAN, CRAYTON, JANKU, and HUTTON were present. The City Manager, City Counselor, and City Clerk were also present.
 

OLD BUSINESS
B279-01     Confirming the contract of Coil Construction, Inc. for construction of improvements to the Blind
                   Boone Home.
    The bill was given second reading by the Clerk.
    Mr. Beck explained that this bill required a special meeting because the work needs to be completed before the end of the fiscal year because of grant requirements. The contract amount is $38,330 for the Phase I stabilization work to the Home.
    He pointed out that three bids had been received.
    B279-01 was given third reading with the vote recorded as follows: VOTING YES: LOVELESS, JOHN, COFFMAN, HINDMAN, CRAYTON, JANKU, HUTTON. VOTING NO: NO ONE. Bill declared enacted, reading as follows:

    There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
