ARC Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary

The Activity & Recreation Center (ARC) is inviting the public to help celebrate its 10th anniversary with some special activities from December 16-19.

Everyone is invited to take advantage of these opportunities.

• Canned Food Drive, December 16 (Bring in canned good for $1 off daily admission)
• Family Swim Special ($1 per person), December 17, 7-9 pm
• Zumbathon ($2 per person), December 18, 6-8 pm
• Multiple visit pass purchasers will receive 25 visits for the price of 20
• New patrons joining the ARC on the monthly payment plan will receive half-price for the first month's fee
• New patrons purchasing an Annual Membership will receive 13 months for the price of 12

The ARC is located at 1701 W. Ash. The 73,000-square-foot facility opened to the public on Dec. 16, 2002. Funding for the ARC was made possible by Columbia residents passing a quarter-cent sales tax on the November 1999 ballot.
