The Columbia Public Works Department will host an interested parties meeting on Tuesday, January 16 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers in City Hall at 701 East Broadway.
Public Works staff at the meeting will provide information on the proposed Private Common Collector Elimination Project (PCCE) in the area of Glenwood and Westwood Ave. This project proposes abandoning the current privately maintained sanitary sewer collection system and constructing a public sanitary sewer to serve the residents in the area.
If you can not attend the meeting but wish to ask questions or make comments, you may contact Columbia Public Works Sewer Engineering Division at 573-874-7250.
A schematic of the proposed project is attached to this release.
