Come spend a beautiful evening in downtown Columbia with local artists and storm water educators while you tour the Storm Drain Mural Art Work as we launch the 1st Annual Storm Drain Art Mural Crawl!
The projects are done and ready for you to delight over. Learn more about each project from the local volunteer artists who inspire to teach us about how storm water and storm drains affect us all both locally and globally.
Starting at 5:30 PM, on Wednesday, September 12 in front of the Roots N' Blues N' BBQ offices at 910 East Broadway, we'll begin our journey to view each project and along the way, learn about the effects of storm water by storm water educators.
Wear comfortable shoes, bring your camera's and questions, and enjoy the walking tour which is appropriate for ages from 1 to 92. Just watch out for those mythical and magical creatures lurking near the drains!
The Storm Drain Mural Art project is co-sponsored by the City of Columbia and Boone County National Bank Roots N' Blues N' BBQ. Generously supported by Sherwin Williams. Ideas borrowed from the city of Springfield Missouri.
