Columbia Police investigate shots fired incident in the 100 block of S. Ninth Street, Oct. 10

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Police responded to the 100 block of S. Ninth Street on Sunday, Oct. 10 at approximately 12:20 a.m., for a report of shots fired. 

Officers arrived and located two victims, a 31 year old male and a 33 year old female, both with gunshot wounds. The two victims were in stable condition when EMS arrived. They were transported to a local hospital. 

This is an ongoing investigation and that is being handled by the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. More information may become available at a later time.
