Columbia Police were dispatched to two separate reports of armed robberies on Monday, Oct. 4. In both incidents, one male entered the store and displayed a handgun while demanding money. The male was dressed in all dark clothing.
The first incident occurred at approximately 9:40 p.m. at Arena Wine and Spirits, 515 Scott Blvd, The second incident occurred at approximately 10:25 p.m. at Arena Liquor, 208 Corporate Lake Dr.
Both times the suspect fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash in a dark-colored, four-door sedan. There were no injuries reported.
