Columbia Regional Airport announces additional flights by American Airlines

(COLUMBIA, MO) - Beginning this month, American Airlines is offering four daily flights out of COU, with an additional flight being added in June for a total of five daily flights. Of the five daily flights offered by American Airlines, three are to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and two to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).

United Airlines continues to offer daily service to Chicago out of COU each day. The City of Columbia eagerly awaits the return of the daily Denver service which was temporarily suspended last year due to the decrease in travel because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Columbia Regional Airport has seen an increase in demand from travelers as more people have received the COVID-19 vaccine. The Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services Department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention continue to encourage people to wear masks and social distance when traveling.
