Columbia Police investigate robbery in the 100 block of W. Broadway, May 4

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Police responded to a report of a robbery with a gun in the 100 block of W. Broadway on May 4 at approximately 2:30 a.m.

Officers arrived and located one adult male victim. The victim reported that while he was in his vehicle, the suspect approached the vehicle and demanded property while brandishing a handgun.

The victim complied by handing over an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no injuries reported. 

The victim described the suspect as a Black male, approximately 6’3 to 6‘5 tall. The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a red SUV with shiny rims. 

This is an ongoing investigation. More information may become available at a later time.
