Public Health and Human Services to host community vaccination clinics in Sturgeon, Harrisburg and Hallsville

(COLUMBIA, MO) - To continue making the COVID-19 vaccine accessible to everyone, Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services will hold community vaccination clinics in Sturgeon, Harrisburg and Hallsville during the week of May 3.

Sturgeon
Sturgeon Youth Center
209 S. Turner St., Sturgeon MO 65284
Tuesday, May 4
3 to 6 p.m.
The second dose will be administered at the same place and same time on Tuesday, May 25.

Harrisburg
Harrisburg Lion’s Club
120 E. Sexton St., Harrisburg, MO 65256
Wednesday, May 5
3 to 6 p.m.
The second dose will be administered at the same place and same time on Wednesday, May 26.

Hallsville
Hallsville Community Center
324 E. Highway OO, Hallsville, MO 65255
Thursday, May 6
3:30-6:30 p.m.
The second dose will be administered at the same place and same time on Thursday, May 27.

These clinics will be for walk-ins and no appointments are required. The three community clinics will administer Pfizer so anyone aged 16 and older is eligible. A parental consent form is required for individuals aged 16 and 17. The vaccination is free and health insurance is not required.

Local media interested in covering the clinics can attend from 3:30 to 5 p.m. for each event. Public Information Specialist Sara Humm or Health Educator Ashton Day will be at the clinics for interviews.
