(COLUMBIA, MO) - A community briefing will be held Monday, May 3 at 3 p.m. to provide information about the current state of COVID-19 cases and the future of the Health Orders in Columbia and Boone County. Columbia Mayor Brian Treece, Boone County Presiding Commissioner Dan Atwill, and Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services Director Stephanie Browning will be speaking.
The briefing will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. Members of the media are invited to attend. Social distancing measures will be in place. Masks are required. Due to social distancing measures and limited capacity in the Council Chambers, the public is strongly encouraged to view the briefing via livestream or via local media broadcasts.
The briefing will be livestreamed for the public at http://gocolumbiamo.granicus.com/MediaPlayer.php?publish_id=65422f1d-3cac-496e-a46b-91c619f7f894 and will begin five minutes before 3 p.m. and broadcast live on Spectrum 992, Mediacom 80 and CenturyLink 96.
