Columbia Parks and Recreation holding MLB Pitch, Hit and Run and Jr. Home Run Derby

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Parks and Recreation is holding the local Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run and Jr. Home Run Derby competitions. Both will be held Saturday, May 1 at 10 a.m. at American Legion Park, 3675 Legion Lane.

The competitions are free. The Home Run Derby will be divided into two age divisions, 12U and 14U. Pitch, Hit and Run will be divided into four age divisions: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 and 13/14.

Local winners will advance through levels of competition, with national winners invited to the MLB All-Star game in July.
