Beginning Monday, May 3, AMF Electric and Viking Corp., contractors for AT&T, will be installing small cell wireless facilities at three separate locations. Lane restrictions, closures and sidewalk closures are necessary to complete the work and will take place each day between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., weather permitting. Work is scheduled to be complete by Friday, May 7, weather permitting. The locations impacted are listed below:
Lane restriction on Willis Avenue between East Broadway and Bass Avenue.
Lane closure of the eastbound driving lane and south sidewalk of Hinkson Avenue between North Williams Street and North Ann Street. Eastbound traffic will be directed to yield to westbound traffic via temporary traffic control.
Lane restriction of the southbound lane of Ashland Road between South Southpark Drive and East Campus Drive.
Motorists, and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should follow the traffic control dev to the other side of the street.
