City of Columbia Public Works crews will install speed bumps on Holly Avenue, as part of the Holly Avenue traffic calming project, beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 19. Due to the construction, Holly Avenue will be closed to traffic. Motorists will need to find an alternate route. Construction is scheduled to be complete by Wednesday, April 21, weather permitting.
The project will use traffic calming devices to lower operating speeds on Holly Avenue from Parker Street to Oakland Gravel Road. Holly Avenue is seventh on the 2018 Neighborhood Traffic Management Program Priority List. More project information may be found online at CoMo.gov/publicworks/holly-calming.
