The Hinkson Creek Collaborative Adaptive Management (CAM) has scheduled a series of informational meetings to discuss research, projects, scientific strategies and plans. The virtual meetings, which will be held each Thursday in April, are open to the public.
The CAM process is the result of an innovative, cooperative partnership between federal, state, county, city and University of Missouri officials focused on using adaptive methods to implement a pollutant reduction plan to improve the water quality in Hinkson Creek and its watershed.
Each meeting is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. and will be approximately 1½ hours. The scheduled topics for April are:
- April 8: Forum Nature Area Level Spreader Monitoring Report by Laura Wiseman
- April 15: Macroinvertebrate Study Report by Geosyntec
- April 22: A report on chloride data collection and studies by the Science Team
- April 29: Science Strategy discussion by the Science Team
