Columbia Parks and Recreation is planning the CoMo 200K Challenge to commemorate the city’s bicentennial this year.
Registration will open Friday, March 26 and will end May 31. Participants will be able to log in and track their mileage from April 3 through July 4 on the CoMo 200K Challenge web site, which is also available through the new MyCoMo app.
The CoMo 200K Challenge will encourage participants to complete 200 kilometers (124 miles) on their own. Walking, running, wheeling, cycling, swimming and paddling all count toward participants’ mileage totals.
Entry fee for the Challenge is $20 per person. All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and finisher medal upon completion. A final event will be held on July 4 at Flat Branch Park; more details will be available at a later time.
The CoMo 200K Challenge is sponsored by Equipment Share.
