Columbia Police investigate disturbance in the 2600 block of Jacobs Pl., Feb. 28

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

At approximately 2:16 p.m., on Feb. 28, Columbia Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 2600 block of Jacobs Pl. 

Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female victim and a juvenile. Through further investigation, officers discovered that someone had shot through a door inside the residence. Officers located evidence of a shell casing in the residence. 

The victim described the suspect as an adult male wearing a gray hoodie and who was last seen driving a gray four-door sedan. The suspect's direction of travel is unknown at this time.

At the time of the incident, there was no report of injuries or other property damage located.

This is an active investigation. More information may become available at a later time.
