Columbia Police arrest one suspect involved in an assault that occurred in the 300 block of Hirth Ave., Feb. 27

(COLUMBIA, MO) - At approximately 9:58 p.m. on Feb. 27, Columbia Police responded to a report of an assault that occurred in the 300 block of Hirth Ave.

Upon arrival, officers assessed the scene and immediately called for emergency medical assistance. 

A male victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.

The suspect was identified as Terence Lashae, 36, of Columbia. He was remanded to the custody of the Boone County Jail for the charges of first degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

This is an ongoing investigation and is being handled by the Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division. More information may become available later.
