City to begin enforcing no parking on priority routes due to more than two inches of snowfall

The City of Columbia will begin ticketing vehicles parked on priority routes per City ordinance for two inches of snowfall. Vehicles not moved soon after ticketing are subject to being towed.

Whenever snow accumulates more than two inches, any vehicle parked on a designated snow route must be moved off of the roadway or risk a fine of $100 plus towing and storage charges. This critical ordinance allows plow drivers the space needed to do their work more quickly, efficiently and safely for everyone.
