Columbia Police investigate shots fired in the 3600 block of Aspen Heights Parkway, Feb. 11

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

At approximately 12:40 a.m. on Feb. 11, officers responded to a report of shots heard in the 3600 block of Aspen Heights Parkway. 

Upon arrival, officers learned that a resident in the area had hosted a party and a fight had taken place. Following the fight, the resident reported that an adult male was removed from the party and that he shot several rounds in the air outside of the residence. 

The resident described the suspect as a white male in his early 20s, 6'2 and weighing approximately 190 pounds. The suspect was last seen driving a dark colored pickup truck. His direction of travel is unknown at this time.

Officers were able to locate shell casings near the residence. There was no property damage or injuries as a result of the shots fired.
