Local officials to provide community briefing on COVID-19, Feb. 10 at 3 p.m.

(COLUMBIA, MO) - A community briefing will be held Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 3 p.m., to discuss recent trends and the current status of COVID-19, the vaccine rollout in the area, and the next health order for Columbia and Boone County. Columbia Mayor Brian Treece, other public officials and representatives from local health care organizations will be present.

The briefing will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. Members of the media are invited to attend. Social distancing measures will be in place. Masks are required. Due to social distancing measures and limited capacity in the Council Chambers, the public is strongly encouraged to view the briefing via livestream or via local media broadcasts. 

The briefing will be livestreamed for the public at http://gocolumbiamo.granicus.com/MediaPlayer.php?publish_id=f11545c4-52bc-48ca-943e-96a1c63beaee and will begin five minutes before 3 p.m. and broadcast live on Spectrum 992, Mediacom 80 and CenturyLink 96.
