Public hearing on Round 3 of CARES Act funding to be held February 1

(COLUMBIA, MO) -
The City of Columbia City Council will be holding a public hearing at the February 1, 2021 City Council meeting to consider public comments related to funding allocation recommendations for Round 3 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds authorized through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed by Congress on March 27, 2020.   Funds must be used for the exclusive purposes of preparing, preventing or responding to the impact of COVID-19.  All members of the public are welcome to provide comments.  Comments may also be submitted in writing or via email through February 4, 2021 to [email protected].  The Housing and Community Development Commission has formulated the following funding recommendations for Council consideration at the February 1, 2021 City Council meeting:
