Columbia Police investigate a robbery in the 2400 block of Paris Road, Jan 11

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Police were dispatched to a report of a robbery in the 2400 block of Paris Rd. on Monday, Jan. 11 at approximately 3:45 p.m.

A female victim reported being physically pushed out of her vehicle by the suspect in a parking lot on Paris Road, sustaining minor injuries. She said the suspect left the area driving the vehicle. 

Through the investigation, officers were able to locate the suspect and the vehicle at a residence in the 2400 block of Springdale Drive at approximately 4:50 p.m. 

The suspect was identified as Saroeun Mark Sorm, 35, of Columbia. He was arrested for second degree robbery. Additional charges may come as the investigation continues.
