A 23-person City of Columbia Public Works plow crew reported at 7 a.m., Jan. 1, replacing the night shift, to continue responding to winter weather. Continued freezing rain, snow mix and rain is forecast to continue today, Jan. 1. Crews continue to focus on first, second and third priority routes which can be found on our website at CoMo.gov/CoMoSnow/priority-snow-routes/.
As winter weather can be unpredictable, residents are encouraged to closely monitor the forecast and changing road conditions throughout the mid-Missouri area. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.
