Columbia Police has issued a SILVER Advisory for missing 77-year-old William J. Heggarty. Mr. Heggarty was last seen at his residence in the 2400 block of Topaz Drive on Dec. 8 at approximately midnight.
Mr. Heggarty is a 77 year-old white male, who is 5’10, 230 lbs. with green eyes, gray hair and a full gray beard. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and dark pants. He has a medical diagnosis of dementia.
He is possibly in a 2010 red Chrysler PT Cruiser, Missouri plate BE7-W4P. There are several stickers on the back of the vehicle.
Anyone seeing Mr. Heggarty, or anyone having any information relating to his whereabouts, should immediately dial 9-1-1 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call Columbia Police at 573.874.7652.
