Beginning Sunday, Dec. 6 at 5 a.m., the Columbia Police Department will assist in traffic control for a contractor working for MediaCom. The contractor will be moving a cable/fiber line across I-70. The contractor will start work near the 2900 block of Clark Lane and go south across I-70. The work is expected to be completed by 6 a.m.
Alternating lanes will be restricted until the work is completed. Columbia Police vehicles will direct traffic through the work zone.
