Columbia Parks and Recreation is offering Kwanzaa celebration bags through Dec. 24. The bags are free, and include supplies and instructions needed for a traditional Kwanzaa celebration.
The Kwanzaa bags are taking the place of the annual celebration that is usually held in December. This year’s event is not being planned due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pre-registration is required to receive a celebration bag, as supplies are limited. Bags can be reserved by emailing [email protected]. They may be picked up at the Armory Sports Center, 701 E. Ash.
For more information, call Columbia Parks and Recreation at 573.874.7460.
