Columbia Police investigate robbery with injury in the 300 block of S. Ninth St., Nov 3

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Police were dispatched to a report of a robbery with minor injuries in the 300 block of S. Ninth St. on Nov. 3 at approximately 10:50 p.m.

The victim reported that he was standing outside an apartment building when two males approached him. The victim reported that one male punched him, causing him to drop his cell phone, then picked it up, and the two suspects continued walking southbound on South Ninth Street.

The first suspect was described as a Black male, approximately 5’10, with dreads and wearing dark colored clothing. The second suspect was described as a Black male, approximately 6 feet tall, with short hair and wearing dark clothing. 

The suspects left with the victim’s cell phone. There were no other injuries reported. 

This is an ongoing investigation, and there are no further details to provide at this time.
