(COLUMBIA, MO) - The City of Columbia Stormwater Utility is holding an interested parties meeting Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the corner of Longwell Drive and Bray Avenue, to discuss the upcoming Bray Avenue Stormwater Improvement Project.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the plans to reduce the incidence of flooding from stormwater near the intersection of Bray Avenue and Longwell Drive. The project proposes replacing two existing stormwater inlets and existing stormwater pipe with five new inlets and 250 feet of new stormwater pipe.
Information and diagrams showing preliminary concepts will be available for public review, and City staff will be present to answer questions.
