Columbia Community Land Trust announces major donation

The Columbia Community Land Trust (CCLT) is pleased to announce a $32,000 donation to support the long term sustainability of the organization and stewardship of our City's investments in affordable housing.  Community Land Trusts take a unique and long term approach to affordable homeownership by ensuring homes remain permanently affordable for future generations.  This approach preserves homeownership opportunities by protecting public and private investments in affordability and also requires an additional commitment of staff time and resources.  The donation comes at a point when the CCLT is actively seeking donations, large and small, to support its work and make further progress towards achieving sustainable operations.  This generous donation will further the Columbia Community Land Trust's efforts to create a sustainable organization dedicated to protecting housing affordability and economic opportunity for generations to come.
