Beginning Monday, July 27, at 7 a.m., Weathercraft Inc., contractor for 204 S. Ninth Street, plans to reroof a portion of the building. This will result in the closure of a portion of the south sidewalk and six parking spaces along Locust Street between South Ninth and South Tenth streets. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Thursday, July 30 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the north side of Locust Street.
