Columbia police investigate shots fired in the 500 block of Scott Boulevard, June 20

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

At approximately 1:43 a.m., on June 20, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Scott Boulevard. 

Upon arrival, officers located two male juveniles, ages 13 and 16, with gunshot wounds and immediately rendered aid. Two ambulances were called to assist and transported both victims to a local hospital to treat non-life threatening injuries.

No suspect information is available at this time. This is an active investigation and will be handled by detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division.
