Sidewalk closure scheduled on East Broadway, June 22-July 21

Beginning Monday, June 22, at 7 a.m, Broadway Enterprises LLC plans to demolish the south wall of the structure at 219 E. Broadway and to make the sidewalk ADA compliant. This will result in the closure of the north sidewalk along East Broadway between North Providence Road and North Second Street. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, July 21, at 5 p.m., weather permitting. 

Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the south side of East Broadway, or detour north to East Walnut Street.
