[SCHEDULE UPDATE] Sidewalk closure rescheduled on East Walnut Street for June 11

Due to the forecast weather, Bee Seen Signs, contractor for 803 E. Walnut St., is rescheduling the installation of a new sign for Hawthorne Bank from Tuesday, June 9, to Thursday, June 11. This will result in the closure of the north sidewalk along East Walnut Street between North Eighth Street and North Ninth Street. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by 4 p.m. the same day, weather permitting. 

Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the south side of East Walnut Street.
